Sometimes catalogs and junk mail can become quite valuable to both nostalgists and diehard marketers. Yep, the same stuff we are throwing away today, others may be willing to pay for in a few years.

I've bought back issues of J. Peterman and early Banana Republic catalogs on ebay. Old JS&A (Joe Sugarman) and DAK Industries (Drew Kaplan) catalogs are highly prized now (oh how I regret not saving those).

A couple of years ago, I bought a guy's entire collection (about 5 years worth) of Ben Suarez's product mailers on ebay for somewhere around $500.
