I AM the Weakest Link!

by Ryan M. Healy on August 7, 2012

If there’s anything that reveals how vulnerable a service-based business is, it’s sickness.

I’ve been sick since Saturday morning with a really bad cold. Headache, congestion, fever, coughing, the whole bit.

Tried to do a little work yesterday, but had trouble getting anything of significance done.

Finally, today, I’m feeling better. Or at least well enough to come into the office.

Sitting there sick and hardly able to do anything, I started thinking about how nothing gets done without me being there.

It’s not a new thought.

When my wife gets sick, I help her take care of the kids, make meals, do dishes, and clean house.

But when I get sick, nobody does my work for me. Nobody writes my sales letters, handles the finances, or pays the bills. All of that just piles up until I get healthy again.

I am the weakest link!

Which is one reason I continue to work on creating products that can be sold and fulfilled even when I’m unable to work.

One product I continue to develop is Copywriting Code, a membership site for people who are serious about learning how to write web copy that sells.

Check it out here:
