Lou...

The letter you send prospects does NOT have to be different. You just have to have a strategy that delivers on the promise in the letter.

If you don't... then... you have to come up with an offer that would interest an investment newsletter publisher.

Like for instance...

Writing a re-activation letter for subscribers who did not renew. Or something like that.

John:

Your video 2 ("How To Find Great Copywriting Clients) and video 3 (This Letter gets 40% to 75% response) were simply magnificent -- useful, clever and adaptable.

Here's my difficulty: I'm transitioning from being a commodities salesman (specializing in Gold); and while I have some good writing samples to show, I've no track record in direct marketing to offer a direct marketing prospect -- the kind of prospect you suggest tracking down from SRDS.

What kind of offer can I make in a letter promoting my services to an investment newsletter publisher? Obviously, the letter I write has to be completely different from the one you talk about in Video #.
