Vote on New Blog Header

by Ryan M. Healy on January 16, 2012

This year one of my goals is to make incremental improvements to my blog every single week.

With that in mind I had two new blog header graphics designed. Both are fairly similar. My goal was twofold: To get rid of the red subscribe button and to make the header graphic load faster.

Please vote for the one you like best after looking at each one. (Each graphic opens in a new window when clicked.)

Bright and bold! Hope all is going well.
Got your christmas card. Family is growing!
Mine too went from 2 to 11 in a couple weeks.

Love your work Ryan. Perfectly down to earth. Gitomer and Healy are the only ones I read!

Hey Anna Mae,

Nice to hear from you. Glad you enjoyed the Christmas card.

That’s great the your family is growing. Always exciting when that happens. :-)

Stay in touch.

I see I voted for the losing one!

So – my justification is “professional distance” on the photo. I’m not a hugger!

:)

Great — now I’m going to start getting hugging spam on my website.

Ah, c’mon, Robert… let me give you a hug. :-)

Hello Ryan,
I like this one better:

but if you insist number one!
Best,
JB

JB – Thanks for taking the time to do that!

Interesting idea to “mirror” the logo and show its reflection.

Although for the domain name I like to keep it less fancy, more readable.

I got both of these headers done on Fiverr for $5 apiece. They are an intermediate step toward a bigger overhaul. (At least, that’s what I’m thinking right now.)
